The Key to a Fruitful Year
New Year blessings, C&T family,
May you remain at rest this year. Rest in Jesus’ finished work on your behalf. Rest in your acceptance and security as a son or daughter of God.
Rest in the confidence that God is working all things together for your good; while patiently, progressively, incrementally putting the enemies of Christ under His/our feet globally.
Note: It’s a presidential election year, with an incumbent that is particularly polarizing and despised by powerful segments of the dominant culture. That means we’ll be relentlessly bombarded from all sides by messages designed to either frighten or infuriate us.
Therefore it’s vital to give more time and attention to the Word and the Spirit than to the noise on social media platforms. Neither social media nor traditional media is real life.
Stay in rest. Let’s be people of peace, and calm confidence. Throughout 2020, let’s stay connected to our Source—our Tree of Life—and simply act and move organically out of that connection. Jesus said:
So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine.
“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.(John 15:4-5 TPT)
